Interviewer: “Robert, congratulations on your brace today! A fantastic performance. How are you feeling after that win?”
Lewandowski: “Thank you! I’m feeling really happy, both for myself and for the team. It was an important match, and getting the win is always the priority. Scoring two goals is always nice, but it’s all about the team effort. We worked hard together, and I’m just happy to contribute to the victory.”
Interviewer: “You seemed to be in the right place at the right time today. Can you walk us through your goals?”
Lewandowski: “The first one came from a great cross from the winger. I had to time my run perfectly, and I managed to get the header right. It’s something I practice a lot in training—being in the right spot when the ball comes in. The second goal was just about being composed in the box. I knew I had to finish it quickly because the goalkeeper was coming out. It’s all about being calm and focused in those situations.”
Interviewer: “You’ve been in some big matches over your career. Does your experience help in handling those high-pressure moments, especially in front of goal?”
Lewandowski: “Absolutely. Over the years, I’ve learned how to stay calm and trust in my ability. It’s all about preparation and focusing on what you’ve done a thousand times before. Of course, the pressure is always there, but you need to channel that energy and use it to your advantage. I’ve learned to stay mentally strong and stay in the moment, whether it’s a match like this or a big final.”
Interviewer: “Speaking of pressure, your team is in the race for the title. How important is it to keep winning games like this, especially with the competition so tight?”
Lewandowski: “Every game is important, especially at this stage of the season. We can’t afford to drop points, and we know that. We need to stay focused and keep doing our job on the pitch. We have a great team, and the mentality is really strong. The title race is exciting, and we’ll keep pushing ourselves every match to give our best and see where it takes us.”
Interviewer: “Lastly, your partnership with the other forwards seems to be growing stronger. How do you feel about the chemistry you’ve built with your teammates?”
Lewandowski: “I’m really happy with the way we’re developing as a team. Football is about understanding each other, and I think we’re improving every game. There’s a great connection between me and my teammates. Whether it’s with the wingers or the midfielders, we all know where we need to be and how to support each other. The chemistry is key to scoring goals and creating chances, and I’m excited to see how we continue to grow together.”
Interviewer: “Thanks, Robert! Once again, congratulations on the brace, and best of luck for the rest of the season.”
Lewandowski: “Thank you! It’s been a great team effort, and I hope we can keep this momentum going.”
